Get Volt

Run it on your watch.

Volt is an independent, personal-use beta for Wear OS. It is not on the Play Store, and it is not affiliated with Tesla.

  1. Install the beta APK. Build it from the source, or take the latest CI build, and sideload it with ADB. The watch needs a screen-lock PIN.
  2. Sign in with Tesla from the watch. The sign-in finishes on your phone, on Tesla’s own website, and the same page hands you Volt’s key to approve in the Tesla app. Pair the Bluetooth watch key inside the car with your key card.
  3. Turn on the hands-free key in Settings, if you want it: stand at the driver’s door once to set the unlock distance, and from then on the car unlocks as you walk up and locks as you walk away.

Your Tesla password never enters Volt. This service keeps encrypted account tokens only to read your car’s status and relay the commands you tap, asks for no location or profile data, and answers to one Tesla account. Revoke it at any time under third-party apps in your Tesla account, and read what Volt keeps.

This browser preview demonstrates the journey. The included native Wear OS beta uses a scrollable round-screen layout; final spacing follows the watch’s screen size and font settings.
